The Breakfast was great and the lake just across the road. It was a lovely place to stay and really easy to get to with the bus stop right outside the hotel.

The breakfast was very good. The parking was OUTSTANDING as they let us park all day AFTER checkout so we could hike on the local trails without paying for parking.

Great location being very close to the lake. Room had a balcony which was nice to sit on. Good buffet breakfast. Very convenient that it has parking too. Overall the hotel is good, just feels dated now.

Another superb stay here. Breakfast is excellent, we stayed last year the staff are so helpful. High cleanliness standard. We had a couple of the evening buffets which are €25 each, great value esp for our son who eats like a horse. Will be back.

We had a pleasant 4 night stay. As other reviewers have said the hotel decor is a little dated, but our room was clean and it was nice to have a balcony. The buffet breakfast was good and the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

While a lot of the other reviews really take a negative spin right off the bat- I found the staff and overall location incredible. You can’t get a better location and there’s a grocery store right behind it. I found the cold air conditioning in my room a LIFE saver after staying at other struggling properties in this heatwave. I also found the streamlined views just stunning and ease of being a guest there. I would happily stay again. It’s not a 5 Star but you get that lovely Slovenian Hospitality you would hope to get. Bohinj is just amazing too!

The hotel is in a great location near the lake. The room was fine and had a balcony. The breakfast was good, as was dinner but you are advised to get there at 19.00 when it opens. The staff were mostly fine, it would have been nice to know about the extra costs for the sauna before getting to the wellness centre, the swimming pool was great though.

Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious.

Perfektes Hotel!

Das Hotel ist perfekt: sehr gute Lage am See, schöne geräumige Zimmer, großer Pool mit benutzerfreundlichen Öffnungszeiten (ab 07:00, so dass man schon vor dem Frühstück schwimmen kann), gutes Frühstücksbüffet, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.
