Being able to swim in the water, enjoy all the wildlife, paddle boarding, and kayaking will give us plenty to do while we stayed there and the water taxis were very easy to get the staff can even help you get one if needed."

"This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. Be aware that you are in the jungle with jungle noises at night and no walls. After the first night, we got used to the sounds and actually found them soothing. From the cocao tea and muffins at your door before you wake, to the incredible sunsets from the dining room, it is an excellentexperience. I'm sad we had to leave. "

The bungalows are beautifully designed, very comfortable, and you can tell a lot of care went into every detail. What really sets this place apart is the hospitality. The team (and owners) are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure you have a great experience. From helping arrange boat transfers and activities to sharing local tips, we always felt very well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and having easy access to the water for kayaking and paddleboarding right from the property was a huge plus. If you are looking for a peaceful, intimate, and special place to stay in Bocas del Toro, we can’t recommend Coral Bay Bungalows enough. We left already talking about when we might come back. ❤️"
