"What a perfect little getaway to Maine. Donna and Dave are the most welcoming hosts. You will feel at home staying here. They have a comfy bed, kayaks to use, hot tub and a bbq. The lake is beautiful and we got to see our very own sunrise from it. It’s about 45 minutes to Acadia but an easy straight ride and local for all that you need. We will come again. Great place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Thank you again Donna and Dave. "

"If you are going to Bar Harbor I highly recommend staying here. The location was relaxing and quiet, town is about 10 minutes away. The book of information on the table was fantastic. Everything that we needed was available to make our hiking trip enjoyable. The owners Gayle & Rob are fantastic and very knowledgeable. "Tim was super nice and helpful far before the trip even started. He had great resources to offer us and the place was perfect. Plenty of space, beds, and kitchen appliances. Located not far at all from trails and the park and you could even walk to the main area of southwest harbor if you wanted to which was really cute. Highly recommend!"
