Fabulous 3-Bedroom Waterfront Home on Charming Lummi Island Awaits You

"This place was even better than the pictures portray! It was so clean, comfortable, and being right on the water was amazing! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely come back!"

"House was very clean and as pictured. Coffee was helpfully provided. The view is beautiful, and we're sure warm weather would make the pool and the waterfront both very fun. It was chilly out when we stayed, so we were more focused on indoor time, the hot tub, and a few trips into Bellingham.The home has some issues related to maintenance or the age of things. The garbage disposal simply did not work, several lights in the home did not work, the outdoor lights for the front driveway did not work, and one of the bathrooms had a patched-in replacement light/fan that we could not get to consistently work. The bigger issue for our cool weather stay was the hot tub, which apart from being dated also simply quit working. Hosts offered an electrician, but that would have been after our stay ended and was therefore not really helpful. We eventually discovered a reset button within a maintenance access panel on the hot tub, that got the jets working again, but we had already missed the opportunity for that night. If that is a known issue with the tub, it should not have been up to us to miss a night of hot tub and then figure it out ourselves.So the house is as described, clean, and reasonably well stocked. But the longer-term maintenance issues mean the house is showing its age in ways that were inconvenient and sometimes frustrating for us. But if you got the right warm weekend in the summer, the view and the water here are undeniably great."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Seal Cottage! The view, the hikes we went on in the nature preserves, the fantastic restaurant dinner and convenient kitchen to prep more shared meals, the beach where we found so many cool critters...it made for a fantastic trip! The only improvement I would make would be adding one more bathroom...but truly nothing to complain about!!"

"We had a very peaceful and relaxing vacation! The house has everything you need and more! Whenever we thought “I wonder if they have”, sure enough it was there. I wouldn’t hesitate booking this property! Just get comfortable with the ferry schedule if you’re booking activities off Lummi Island. The real time cameras help immensely. Thanks Molly for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

"Clean, new air conditioned house (under 2 years old) and nicely appointed. Large 2nd story deck with sunken spa with eastern views of the sea and Mt. Baker, for magnificent sunrises. Only 2 short blocks from a semi-private beach. Hosts were accommodating and genuinely friendly. Many happy memories were made here. We hated to leave!"
