It was an enchanting, magical place to stay. You may never be served breakfasts as beautiful and as delicious as you will be served at Kangaroo House! I want to go back to Orcas Island just to stay at this fantastic home again. Even the soap smelled great!!

Everything about this place was wonderful. Best B&B we've ever stayed in. Walkable distance into the main town of Eastsound, and even shorter walk to the Orcas Center for live music (we were there for Jazz Fest weekend). The owners are super-nice, and after serving up amazing breakfasts each morning, were available for any questions on good hikes, shops, restaurants, etc. We'll be back to this place for sure.

We had a wonderful time at this spotless and charming inn on Orcas Island. The breakfasts were fantastic; they didn't repeat a meal during our week-plus stay. Hosts were charming, informative and fun to talk to, as were the other guests.

Our 3 night stay at the Kangaroo House was exceptional. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The house is lovely with lots of great places to sit including a beautiful deck that feels like a tree house. Our hosts were just the best kind of people and exceptional cooks! The breakfasts were amazing! We can't wait to come back.

What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. They have plenty of nice outdoor seating to breathe in the island air and relax as well. Breakfast was *amazing* each and every morning, just the right way to start a beautiful day on Orcas Island. We will definitely return for another stay!

Great bed and breakfast with a beautiful property in a very good location in eating Eastsound. Less than 5 min to downtown and quick walk to North Beach which had great sunsets. No more than 10-20 min drive to most places on the island. The breakfasts were cooked with care and delicious and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained

It was amazing!! My friend and I enjoyed the hot tub in the magical forest, the delicious breakfasts, and the cozy ambiance. Jill and Charles were lovely and it was fun chatting with them as well as with the other guests!

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stray was. Instead of feeling like a guest, Jill and Charles made us feel like good friends welcomed into their home. Charles and Jill are wonderful hosts; excellent cooks; and worldly, great people and conversationalists. The accommodation was charming and situated on beautiful grounds. I loved the history of this B&B. It was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. The hosts were interesting and socialized during breakfast. It was great to have conversations together with the other guests. I had the cute and extremely quaint room facing the trees. It was perfect. This place was very clean and the tasteful furnishings made my experience authentic and stylized for a comfortable stay. This place was FULL of interesting people. I will go back and stay again.

Th e proprietors here offer not only a lovely, comfortable place to be, with great attention to detail, but encourage and participate in a wonderful conversational environment at breakfast. We have always met interesting people. Most exceptional, a divine, unique three-course breakfast every morning that rivals any you could get at a gourmet restaurant, often using home-grown items.
