This is the most beautiful ryokan we have ever stayed at. The food was delicious with a great variety and the staff explained the menu. The owner came to greet us at dinner and as we were leaving, it was great to meet her. The rooms were amazing and well put together with so many thoughtful touches. I really enjoyed the private garden and bath each morning. The futons were the most comfortable futons that I’ve had. The staff also took great care to help us ship our luggage to our next stay. We had omakase dinners five of our first 10 nights in Japan and our only complaint about Hanamurasaki would be that the omakase dinners were a little too hard-core Japanese for us. Most of...

This place was absolutely wonderful. I wish I’d found it sooner. After a tiny hotel room in Osaka this was an amazing, luxurious room. I loved it. If I ever return this is the type of place I will focus on finding here.

The one night stay at this Japanese onsen hotel was very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
The hotel is only 20 minutes by bullet train from Kanazawa train station. Hotel provided free shuttle pick up from the Kaga Onsen train station.
