The rest was completely walkable with kids. The apartment was located in Kinboro- well known for the several hundred year old Samurai residences. We were within a few hundred meters of excellent dining options. One of those was Izumino, whose amazing owners stuffed us with sashimi and crab cakes and spoiled...

"The apartment was clean and bright. Cooking was possible and it was a very convenient location. Some messages weren’t responded to which is a problem in an unmanned hotel. Like most places in Japan there’s a real lack of flexibility around bedding (the eiderdown/doona is way too hot with no other options - take note management.)"
