Nestled on the tranquil shores of the Blackwood River, this family-friendly retreat offers the perfect escape to nature. Unwind on a cozy couch and lose yourself in a good book while the kids play on the lush green lawn. The stunning river views and its vibrant ecosystem will continue to unfold before you as pelicans, egrets, blue wrens, dolphins and other coastal wildlife greet you throughout the day.
Fishing enthusiasts will love the convenience of casting a line directly in front of the property. The Blackwood River is known for its abundance of fish, including King George whiting, herring, and bream. Perfect for those who enjoy fresh-caught seafood.
Take a stroll along the boardwalk head left for a scenic walk to town, or venture right towards the River Mouth, Colour Patch, and the beach. No matter which way you go, friendly pelicans are often spotted lounging on the rocks or mingling with the local fishermen by the Turner Street Foreshore.
Pelicans View offers a spacious master king bedroom with a private ensuite. Two additional bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed and the other with two single beds, perfect for families or groups of up to six. A shared family bathroom with a laundry is conveniently located down the hallway.

Best Location

The location of this property is absolutely perfect for staying in Augusta. Although it met our needs, the second and third bedrooms are small and have no view and the second bathroom is more a laundry than a bathroom. However the main bedroom, kitchen and living space were perfect so am happy to recommend. We were there to enjoy the outdoors so bedrooms not a real issue. Would stay again.
