Close to Airport - Free Shuttle

A good place to put your head down while waiting for a connecting flight arriving after midnight. Easy and convenient to arrange free shuttle to and from the hotel with no fuss.

Some distance from airport but operate a shuttle s

Facilities in the room were poor. e.g 2 hob rings but no pans.,no dishes,only one teaspoon and no utensils. Only one hand towel. The motel was very noisy and staying there with an early flight was not appreciated. All in all not a rewarding experience.

Horrible place

I was desperate because there were no rooms available close to the airport.... this hotel was below standards and beyond horrible. Does not look like the pictures and surely not worth $199 overnight rate....

Awful and disgusting

Appalling place, the entire facility is in a dreadful condition. It's dilapidated, dirty and in a really dodgy area. The photographs on expedia in no way reflect the true condition of this "hotel". Expedia should remove this "hotel" from their web site immediately.

$60 Motel not $118

The only thing to recommend this motel is that they provide a shuttle to airport - which I'm quite perplexed as to why it's call airport in its name - being 10mins drive away does not entitle you to be called airport anything - and is misleading. It was run-down and dingy. No bed-side lamp (when asked they couldn't provide one either as they didn't have a light bulb for the brand new one they pulled out of back office), no aircon (provided a small oil heater which I had to get changed as it was not working), they advertise free wifi but that only works if you are in the office itself or on the stairs outside the room (which caused me to spend money on data to retrieve and deal with emails for work). No food places near by to get dinner but a very expensive delivery service from local restaurant - that can't follow a food order properly.

Beware!

Airport pickup was nice and quick. Room was severely outdated with two random broken tv's, bathroom had rust on the mirror and mildew all over the shower. Located in a bad neighbourhood Would not recommend at all. Paid $100 or so for the room and had a nightly rate sign of $40 outside of the motel. Frustrating to see.

Un séjour d'une nuit entre deux avions. Douche froide en découvrant le bâtiment, la réception (si on peut appeler ça comme ça). Beaucoup de familles vivant à l'année dans les chambres-studios, pas l'impression d'être dans un établissement touristique. Pas de restaurant, rien ou presque à proximité. Sans voiture, c'est sommaire. Mais la qualité de la chambre est irréprochable : literie parfaite, propreté impeccable, rideaux occultants de qualité, écran télé mural dernier cri. Equipement cuisine basique mais suffisant. Le grille-pain a pourtant un peu vécu.Porte de la chambre sans aucune sécurité

Good value hotel close to airport

Free airport transfers at any hour, and 2 weeks secure free parking make this an attractive option. For a budget hotel the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We have stayed at most of the budget hotels in this area and find this one the best option and use it frequently.

Charged for airport transport

Unusual that we were charged $15 to take us to the airport although pickup on our return was free. We have stayed here many times & free pickup & delivery was the norm. Good security for their car park.

Very bad experience as ALL my luggage was stolen

Within two hours of putting my luggage in the room it was all stolen while I was out having a meal...no TV footage to identify burglar and I have had no communication from the staff to show any concern...the door was certainly locked as my son in law locked it and I watched him do it. The owners have my information...they could have contacted me since to discuss it....I was left with nothing but what I was wearing to fly half way round the world...and not a word from them to give me any support...disgusting...they just rang the police.

Entfernung zum Flughafen ca. 15min Autofahrt. Positiv: kostenloser Flughafentransfer Leider sehr kalt. Wir waren im Mai hier, da ist eine Heizung leider bereits erforderlich. Vorhanden ist lediglich ein kleiner Heizer, der jedoch nicht gegen die undichten Fenster ankommt. Zimmer war nicht ganz neu, aber eigentlich sauber. Für eine Nacht auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.

Our booking for this motel was confirmed 14th Feb. On the 18th of May we arrived in Auckland and were picked up by the motel shuttle but instead of being taken to the Airport Travel Air Motor Inn we were dropped off at a place called Silver Oak Inn so I can't give a review of the motel we were supposed to stay in. We were very disappointed that we weren't told earlier that they were booked out so we could choose a replacement ourselves instead of ending up where we did. Our unit 27 at this other place was definitely not what we would have chosen. It smelt dank and musty, had a bashed in toilet door, rotting carpet around the fridge, had a shower that looked in desperate need of updating and an uncomfortable bed. Having a decent nights sleep was important for us as we had an extra long flight the next day.

Ended in different hotel

We were collected by out booked hotel shuttle and told that they were overbooked. Our's was a prepaid room booking. They had booked us into and prepaid at another hotel (rating on room is for that hotel - Best Western near Auckland Airport). Unsettling as we never dealt with the managers of the hotel we stayed in - the room was not in our name. Not sure what would happen if we had not been prepaid, just confirmed.

Poor customer service

Upon arrival, our room was not ready for another three hours past its promised time. Then, we were told the shuttle to the airport would not be able to accommodate more than one person's departure time. On finally getting the room, it smelled heavily of smoke (supposed to be non-smoking) and the windows were open. The cups in the room were also filled with liquids from the previous stay. It's close to the airport, but would not recommend.

WOTIF what the Hell ???

Garbage, go elsewhere !! Horrible unfriendly staff, room was falling to pieces, chair had 3 legs, shower fell off the wall, only one tv station, noisey.

Hotel was ok served its purpose BUT Shuttle drivers (2) had absolutely no PR . Would be extremely disappointing if being a first time visitor and got any of these drivers. A terrible first impression.
