"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "Had to pre book parking for the hotel but they do offer 3rd party booking for parking which to be honest took me longer to drive than walk. We had parking arranged so I took a 5 min walk in the morning then dropped my car off at my car park. The food was amazing and just the Resturant makes it worth it I would use them again"

"Can’t fault the hotel, the location, the pool n spa & the bedrooms all outstanding. Check-in although early was sufficient but not much enthusiasm when we arrived……when we came back to official check in again nothing outstanding but sufficient. Rooms lovely 6th floor and the pool a bonus too prior to a holiday, very clean and well presented! My one downside was cost of snacks n food (330mls Diet Coke £3.34 to buy from reception area), 750mls water £5 room service just seems a little over priced to me! All in all though a great hotel with a first class access to Manchester Airport T2 a short walk away!"
