「The room was clean and well-equipped, and it was located in the centre of the city. There were two large towels for drying yourself after a shower. There was also a fully equipped induction kitchen. The bed was comfortable, but one of the light covers was missing from the window, so if you wake up at the slightest hint of light, you risk staying awake.」

「Appartamento davvero carino. Tutto abbastanza nuovo e moderno. Non avrebbe guastato una pulizia un pò più approfondita (c'erano ragnatele nel bagno e in generale non si avvertiva un gran senso di pulizia). Neo dell'appartamento: le scale ripidissime e strette per raggiungere il secondo piano (con i bagagli al seguito non è stato semplice). il self check in invece è stato veloce e semplice」

「Appartamento su più livelli, con tutto il necessario per una permanenza di qualche giorno senza problemi. L'host è stato molto cortese e ha risposto sempre in tempi brevissimi. Il centro è a 5 minuti a piedi e nelle vicinanze ci sono negozi e supermercati. Sicuramente consigliato」

「1- Very DECEIVING- listed as “entire apartment” but the listing “Trendy Apt” changed online to “Trendy Room” when we arrived to check in. 2- the check in form would not open so we could not access check in information = stressful. 3- Internet signal is v weak/ nonexistent so that wifi access is really only available by standing inside by front door. 4- amenities are shared ie kitchen but listing never admits this. 5 - Host sent messages ie re leaving property tax but the messages wouldn’t open...

「This wasn’t the apartment we booked - completely different pictures and description of amenities. Tried to resolve with host but unsuccessful. Ended up having to book alternate accommodation as we couldn’t stay here.」

「We had a great time in Ghent. The apartment was small but clean and newly renovated. The location was a buzzy student area with lots of bars and fast food outlets, which was fun, but could get a little rowdy on weekend evenings. Buses into the centre or to the train station were a few minutes walk away. (Different directions) The Belgian people that we met were kind hearted and generous of spirit.」
