"We spent the weekend there. Our first visit. Longtime Blackpool visitors and decided we needed a change from our usual haunt of the past 20 years. A large north shore older hotel but the basement pool facility is now closed. Our 10 years old granddaughter likes a pool. Quite pleased with the Doric. ..."

"Had a really lovely stay for two days as we were going to a couple of shows. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat and good variety of food. Some good bar foods available too. Clean room and bathroom, but could have done with some dusting on lamps and shelves. Staff were really good and helpful. ..."
