"Property was not at all what we expected. Photo was very deceiving. Only two restaurants on the Property and neither one opened until 5. The other places listed to eat only had breakfast from 7 to 10 and then closed at 5. The toilets are so low that if you have knee issues at all good luck getting up. The toilets just barely flush. Bathroom is so small one person barely fits. Water was nice but the shower head was loose. There are no bo not disturb signs. Check out is not until 11 and housekeeping knocked on the door at 8. We took our look at Mesa Verde but when we got back our key didn't work. There was only one ice house for whole property and it was clear down by the office.
Other than that the staff was pleasant. Very under staffed. We had dinner at the lounge and there was 1 waiter and one bar tender on a Friday night. The waiter was amazing for as over whelmed as he was. The bartender was great too.
If I were asked would I stay there again my answer would be absolutely not"
"Room was clean, grandkids loved the pool, breakfast was hot and delicious. Staff was very friendly & courteous. Would definitely stay there in the future."
"Staff awesome. Room older but clean and property quiet at night. Close to Mesa Verda NP and Canyon of the Ancients. Room clean. Older property but could see that the bathroom had been renovated. No smoke detector in room and nothing other than a dead bolt on door but no worries....a chair under the door handle does the trick."
"As for the room, everything was great, but the listings claim they have laundry service which isn't the case, they just have a couple of old, out of order machines. Breakfast consists only of coffee, cereal, and milk."
"We stayed here to be closer to Mesa Verde and it was a good location. The room was very large and comfortable. There were many others there when we were including quite a few children but we didn't notice the noise at all. The breakfast was good.
My only complaint-and it's not really a complaint-is we had a room on the second floor on the back side and had to go up the two flights of stairs to get to our room and the best place to park to be close really 'belonged' to another room."
