Our country house, 'CASA ALMENDRO' is a stylish and comfortable renovated, historic country house, furnished with antique style furniture and fully equipped. The covered terraces are to that, from the outside not
arranged viewable garden. The villa includes 3 adjoining units, Almendro 1 + 2 + 3 the units 1 + 2 have 2 bedrooms each for 4 or 5 people, the unit 3 has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, is prepared for 6 people. With simultaneous rental of all 3 units, the CASA ALMENDRO can comfortably accommodate 15 people, extra beds are possible. The garden is lushly planted with tropical vegetation, so you can relax in the shade of apple, banana, date, fig, kaki, orange, lemon, almond trees the 'Almendros' on the edge of the pool. The romantic country house is equipped with everything you need to prepare culinary delights. To a spicy dish from Charcoal Grill or a Pata Negra, the exquisite Spanish ham, you can
Organic cheeses from local farmers are available and the excellent wines enjoy fruit juices and freshly harvested local fruits on the shaded terrace. Of course, you can get your breakfast eggs from free-range chickens of our adjacent fincas, or prepare paella and pastries in the well-equipped kitchen.

Quirky with an Awesome Rooftop View

Located in the sleepy town of Arico, we were close to the highway for exploring the island. After VRBO accepted our reservation we didn't hear from the owner until two days before our arrival which left us uncertain about the reservation. However, once we arrived communication was excellent and our hosts were extremely helpful. Luisa, your paella was the best we had on the island; Rayco, thanks for looking after us. There's lots of space with many interesting artifacts. A lovely retreat.

großzügig geschnittene Wohnung mit großer Terasse (konnten auch Garten nebenan mitbenutzen), komplett eingerichtet, gute Verbindung sowohl zur Süd- als auch zur Nordspitze. Luisa ist eine sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Wirtin (die Paella am letzten Tag war spitze). Haben uns mit unseren Kindern (15, 18) sehr wohl gefühlt!

Wir haben ein zweites zu Hause

Wir (2 Erw., 2 Kinder 2 Jahre& 5 Jahre) haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Es fehlt an nichts. Es ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die liebe Luisa stand uns wenn wir es brauchten mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Objekt ist fernab vom Massentorismus, es ist dennoch alles vorhanden (Restaurants, Kiosk..). Wir haben es in vollen Zügen genossen. Vielen Dank Luisa

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Sehr saubere Unterkunft mit allem, was man so benötigt. Sehr gut hat uns die Dachterrasse und das separate, geräumige Badezimmer gefallen, denn so konnten wir trotz schlafendem Kleinkind ungestört duschen und unseren Wein trinken. Als einzig kleiner Kritikpunkt ist vielleicht aufzuführen, dass eine Heizmöglichkeit im Bad ganz schön gewesen wäre. Aber alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Beautiful property in nice and quiet village. Our host Luisa and her son Rayco (I hope I did spell it correctly!) were friendly, helpful and so amazing that we will all keep the fantastic memories of our first stay on Canary Islands. Luisa's parties taking place every week where big and nice surprise as we never experience that before. Wonderful Holiday! Thank You!!!

A choisir sans hésiter

Nous avons passé deux excellentes semaines au mois d’Août dans cette maison très agréable. Mais la grande différence pour ce séjour est surtout dû à Luisa la propriétaire. En effet, elle sera toujours disponible si vous avez une question ou besoin de quelques choses. De plus la localisation dans un petit village en hauteur vous offre une vue très sympathique sur Gran Canaria les jours ou le ciel est dégagé. Pour ceux qui aime être légèrement à l'écart des zones ultra touristique (Adeje, los cristianos ...) sans en être trop loin, c'est le bon compromis. Et encore Merci à Luisa pour son accueil et cette fête du 15 Août mémorable ! Julien et Maud

Distribución extraña de la vivienda.

El acceso a la piscina se hacía incómodo al estar situada en la terraza de otra vivienda, si la usas entras literalmente en su espacio, por lo que no la usamos ningún día. Para nosotros estaba demasiado alejada de todo.

Es war wieder wunderbar

Liebe Luisa, unsere Entscheidung wieder Almendro 1 zu buchen war goldrichtig - nach dem Motto "Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wenn das Gute liegt so nah". Auch wenn wir nun schon zum zweiten Male da waren, bietet die Insel soviel Sehens- und Erlebniswertes, dass es nie langweilig wird und dass man immer gerne wieder kommt. Unserer Bewertung vom letzen Mal gibt es nichts hinzuzufügen, alles war wie immer (wir können sagen wie gewohnt) perfekt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben immer von unserem "Zuhause" gesprochen. Wenn wir mal daheim in D meinten mussten wir auf unser "richtigen Zuhause" ausweichen. Einstimmiger Familienbeschluss: „Du bekommst wieder 5 Sterne“. Wie-zu-Hause-Gefühl

Wir durften 10 Tage in Casa Almedro 1 verbringen. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Die Räume sind großzügig und bieten alles an Ausstattung was man braucht. Dir Fotos und Angaben im Inserat beschreiben alles korrekt. Wir hatten das Glück, die Terrasse und den Pool alleine nutzen zu können, da die anderen Wohnungen leer standen. Spielzeug und Schwimmhilfen für unseren Sohn waren auch vorhanden. In den Koffer müssen wirklich nur persönliche Gegenstände, das erleichtert Vieles. Besonders geeignet ist die Unterkunft auch für befreundete Familien, die gemeinsam Urlaub machen wollen, man kann sich sehr gut in den eigenen Bereich zurückziehen oder sich gesellig zusammensetzen. Arico ist ein kleines Örtchen, an dem man sich mit allem Nötigen versorgen kann, ausserdem ist es ein guter Ausgangsort für Unternehmungen mit dem Mietwagen. Unser Highlight war sicher der Besuch des Loro Parque und eine Wal-Beobachtungstour mit dem Boot von Los Christianos. Aber die Landschaft der Insel ist so vielfältig, da ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Luisa ist einer sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die unsere Fragen immer gerne und ausführlich beantwortet hat. Auch wir kamen in den Genuss ihrer köstkichen Paella und des leckeren Weins. Ich finde es aussergewöhnlich, dass Luisa sich so viel Zeit für ihre Gäste nimmt, vielen Dank noch mal für Alles, es war sehr schön bei Dir! Matthias, Jessica und Jonah

Der besondere Urlaub

Als Mieter kommen und als Freundin oder Freund gehen - das kann nur ein besonderer Urlaub gewesen sein. Wer die spanische Lebensart und die spanische Art des Feierns kennen lernen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Inmitten eines kleinen Dörfchens bei einer Finca mit vielen Pflanzen und Früchten lässt sich die angenehme Wärme genießen. Luisa ist eine bemerkenswerte Frau, die mit ihrem Strahlen jeden in den Bann zieht. Die ganze Familie ist richtig liebenswert, einschließlich des Hundes und der Katzen. Urlauber werden beim wöchentlichen Paellaessen mit spanischen Freunden zusammengebracht und jede(r) gehört sofort einfach dazu. Das zeigen auch die Menschen, die jedes Jahr wiederkommen und zum Teil mehrere Monate bleiben. Almendro 1 ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was ein Urlaub angenehm macht. Zum Bad musste man über einen kleinen Innenhof gehen. Das Wohnzimmer ist in die Küche integriert und ausreichend groß. Die große Dachterrasse bietet den Blick bis zum Atlantik und zu den Bergen. Nachmittags kann es schon mal heiß werden, Schatten ist wenig vorhanden. Der Schirm ist bei Wind nicht sinnvoll aufzuspannen. Auch hier in der Wohnung zeigt sich der spanische Geschmack, an den man sich schnell gewöhnt. Vielen Dank an Luisa und ihre Familie für das eintauchen dürfen in das spanische Leben. Die Erinnerung an das Strahlen im Gesicht von Luisa ersetzt die fehlende Sonne in Deutschland.
