The reviews that I had previously read about the villa before we got there stated that a car was needed due to the location of the villa - this is true, we ended up having to get 3 taxi's every time we left the villa as there is nothing in walking distance, not even a local shop for essentials....

We felt like the property hadn’t been totally prepared for us as no gas bottle for bbq, no pool towels, no logs for burner and no waste bags. We had to chase for instructions on how to get there. "28 days of relaxation, villa is in a quiet area & fairly private in the garden. Didn’t use the communal pool, it looked clean, preferred to go to the local beaches and used the chairs and umbrellas plus the cool boxes that were at the villa. Ideal situation for the Tuesday farmers market & Sunday flea market. 20mins walk to the Balcon but longer back as it’s all uphill, good excuse to sample the local bars en route. Owner was very quick to respond to my questions before we went."
