Charming Villa Torre in Chianti, 8 ensuite bedrooms, pool, Florence, Wi-Fi, A/C.
10/10 Excellent
"Just returned from a week at Villa Torre… It was wonderful! There were seven of us that went to celebrate our 60th Birthdays! The home was great and the hosts Beatrice and Jacopo were incredible! We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Each was unique and had some beautiful antique pieces that fit in with the Villa perfectly.Beatrice made us a delicious Welcome Dinner on the night we arrived and also breakfast the following morning. We also had a Family Style Dinner one night. The food was great and plentiful … we had leftovers for days! We asked the hosts to pick us up some groceries so they were there when we arrived and that was very helpful. Also there is a great supply of wine that we had access to (very reasonably priced from 10 - 25 Euros). We helped ourselves and then paid at the end of the trip. The hosts were also very helpful connecting us with drivers and local tours so that was very helpful! The weather in October was a bit rainy and too chilly to use the pool but it looked beautiful and we would have definitely taken advantage of it if the weather was a bit warmer. Overall it was a great choice to stay and I would highly recommend!"
