Stay just two houses away from the 13th Green of Seascape Golf Course and a short walk to the ocean down the street!

The Country French charm of this brick home and semi-circular driveway with loads of parking await you. Prepare your gourmet meals or serve your takeout on the large center island of the open concept kitchen. Large L-shaped couch with chaise lounge faces the expansive deck with chairs for eight and barbecue. Below that deck, look out to the peaceful trees and enjoy the privacy under the large striped umbrella.

Master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom with two separate sink areas, a bathtub and grab bars for your convenience. Adjacent bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed and share a hall bathroom with shower stall. Remaining guests can sleep on an air mattress, which we provide. Washer and dryer on site for those beach clothes!

Seascape is great…

Family get together - bbq available with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Nice deck to relax and have conversations - Great location in Aptos near golf and beach. Very clean and relaxing! This is our third stay - will return again!

Great house for families

The house provided a great experience in Rio del Mar. It was perfect for families, especially with smaller kids with the playground in the backyard. The house was cozy and had everything you need for a good stay.

Family Holiday

We had family visiting from out of town for the holidays and this house was the perfect spot for our family. The beds were comfortable and the walk to the beach was short for the 70-year-old grandparents.

Golf course view and family time

Lots of indoor space and lovely outdoor deck to enjoy the nice weather. Location is perfect for any golf enthusiast. Checkin and check out was easy breezy. There is some opportunity for cleanliness but overall good place to stay and we would stay here again.

We loved the house, location, proximity to beach, shopping, restaurants, downtown SC, etc. The nearby stretch of beach is gorgeous, the golf course is next door, and the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The owners were SUPER responsive and hospitable. Can’t say enough good things.

Large Beautiful home

We have enjoyed both of our stays at this property and plan to head back soon! My husband and I love to cook and BBQ (the house is stocked with everything you need for this) and our kiddos love the outdoor play area. It is an easy walk down to the ocean and a close drive to shops and restaurants. Wonderful home with anything and everything you might need.

Quiet and serene

The property is spacious with lots of storage space. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We found that 2 bathrooms was a bit inconvenient for 4 people but not a dealbreaker. It took a little while to figure out the light switches. I would recommend more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and a mirror in the second bedroom so you can put on makeup when the bathroom is occupied. The kitchen is large, huge dining table, the patio is delightful and there is ample parking. The microwave was not working but the owner sent over a replacement right away. We would stay here again.

Loved the area and house. Beautiful kitchen and family room and dining room. Master bed was very comfortable! Light switch broken in kitchen area for canned lights. The thermostat was hard to figure out and when we got there is was set at 55 degrees and freezing . The lock box was also open when we arrived. Two days the trunk of the car in the driveway was open so we closed it! The kids loved the playground and had a blast! Thank you for sharing your home!

Multi-generation family vacation

We loved this property. The house was perfect. There were plenty of towels, linen and bedding for everyone's comfort. The kitchen was a chef's dream. The hosts were super accommodating from the start. Short drive to toddler friendly Rio Del Mar beach. The back deck and play structure were perfect for family dinner and undwinding from the day. We couldn't have asked for a better home away from home for the week. Thanks for the great stay!

PERFECT FOR THE FAMILY

This house is perfect for a larger family. It has three bedrooms and a huge couch that easy for someone to sleep on. It is the best stocked house that I have ever stayed in. Thr outside area, complete with a play structure for children is excellent. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that we needed for the stay. Video is excellent with large screen TVs and a variety of apps like Netflix. The back deck is very big with a table that seats eight. Great for outside dining. The house has plenty of games, including an old Pacman game that we had some fun with. While some of the bedroom furniture is dated, everything is functional and clean. We will stay there again when we go back to the area.

A great place to stay with family

The place was fully equipped with what we needed to prepare for the holiday. The jungle gym in the backyard was the best feature that kept my niece and son busy all day and with some s'mores and star gazing at night. We couldn't be happier with the place. It was perfect for two families with 2 kids, and the beach is a 20-minute walk away. The kitchen was fully loaded for food preparation, and the owner was super prompt and helpful when the power went out in the backroom after we used the hairdryer with the heater on. Thank you so much.

Last summer fling

The house was perfect for our 3 generation family. Plenty of room indoors and out. The kitchen was very well stocked! The washer and dryer were very convenient in the garage. Plenty of off street parking. The mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed dinners outside in the sunshine around the huge table on the back deck. We walked to the beach from the house, sometimes we drove to the bottom of the hill if we were hauling a bunch of beach stuff...the hill was steep coming up. We could tell we were living in a home that was loved by the owners. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantasic property

The property was awesome. The kitchen especially was fully stocked with everything you would need. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor decks were perfect for evening meals. Property is close to beaches which is what we were looking for. There are only 2 things we would add/change, a colander for the kitchen and the master bedroom shower head was way too low. Small issues but we would definitely rent again! You won't go wrong with this rental! Thanks Dianne!!!!

Another great stay at this beautiful house

This is our third stay, and it never disappoints. Hosts are very easy to communicate with, and responsive. House is very clean, with a very well set up kitchen for cooking, which we used extensively this year. House is stocked with good quality cooking utensils, bedding, towels, TV, and feels like the home I wish I had. Beautiful outside porch that we didn’t use this year, but between the inside and outside, big enough to host family gatherings. A nice, quiet neighborhood, close to a beach, and a quick drive to Santa Cruz. I would rather have this house than something closer to Santa Cruz, it’s quiet, peaceful, and nicely appointed. Thank you Heidi and Sunder for continuing to rent out this beautiful home.

Disappointed

After reading the reviews, we were very excited to stay there. The outside of the house was beautiful, the inside was a bit dated. We were expecting a fresh clean smell, but there was a stale odor and the couch could use a good shampooing. There was cleaning products in the house, so we were able to clean so we could be comfortable. The kitchen was the main selling point for choosing the house, my family loves cooking. We had brought our own kitchen items, but you definitely will not need it. Unfortunately, we did have a few issues. The main restroom doorknob did not work and I didn't discover that until trying to open the door and realizing I was locked in the restroom. I had to knock on the door to have someone open it for me. We all tried to remember not to let the door latch, but unfortunately a few of us still ended up locked in the restroom. The patio banister was not very secure, we made it a point not to lean on it. My family did not find the neighbors welcoming. It became pretty obvious that neighborhood was not accustomed to seeing African Americans in that area. That became more obvious after we checked out and I got an email from the owners making some outrageous accusations of my family smoking marijuana in the house. It was very offensive, but pretty funny as I'm a law enforcement officer plus my baby has asthma and has to be given an inhaler pump twice a day so there's absolutely no way I would have allowed any smoking. Between the unwelcoming neighbors and the owners stereotypical remarks, my family would never stay there again. Those are things you can't just repair or replace.
