Lakeside Motel
10/10 Excellent
"The front desk person, a self-described “retired guy” was delightful, and very helpful! The property was basic and clean. Very reasonably priced. There’s a convenience store next door and the visitors center is next to the convenience store. Just past the visitors center, you can cross the road and access a walking/bike path along the lake. It’s a very short walk on that path to a nice little beach, coffee shops, etc. You can also easily walk into town. So, can’t beat the location!"

"Breakfast was well done with lots of options. Its hard to get anyone at the front desk in many places as staff are forced to do double,triple duties. Room was in good condition."

"Beautiful location and views.of the Lake fromnthe bluff above. Short walk through trail to downtown. Rooms were small but very nice and beachy. Could not habe asked for.more!"

"Great location l, nice rooms but place needs a little TLC esp in the back facing the lake. Decks needs power wash and paint, railing need paint, over grass and weeds need attention and plain garbage outside just needs to be picked up when cleaning rooms so next guest does not look at it when enjoying such beautiful lake view. We did enjoy the beach area and our dig had a blast swimming in it! (Also body wash was out in our room, please, have staff check it for next guest)."

"Located in central Bayfield,WI. Easy access to lakefront outings. Though located above "social club" and restaurant, noise not a problem. Decor/styling are modern and good quality. Property is without a frontdesk, so check in is virtual. Site used for this was somewhat difficult to navigate. Check in not until 4p. Street parking only, unless arrangements for reserved parking made ahead of time."
