「Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. 」

「Good room with all the facilities. Fast WiFi. Right in the center of Santa Elena ( great location). There isn’t a reception or a commom area like a tradicional hotel.」

「Bright Forest Retreat provided us a great place to stay in Monteverde. Close to everything Monteverde has to offer. We stayed in the 2nd level unit which had great views and a rustic cabin like feel. Shortly after we arrived we saw a monkey high in the trees just outside the front door. Everything worked well but I would caution the use of the safe. Probably my error but I did get locked out and had to contact the host for assistance to get it open. I would stay again in the future. 」

「As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. Being able to easily heat up leftovers from dinner the night before would be a game changer.Second suggestion was a dish drying rack. This makes keeping the units...

「Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! 」

「If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options).
