We stayed at the family room and it was great. Plenty of space for 4 people, clean and with a yard for the kids to play in front of the room. You need a car to move around, but other than that it is perfect for an authentic Korean rural experience. It would be useful to receive more instructions to check-in... we didn't know what to do at our arrival.

Nice Traditional Korean House

We stayed in the suite, with traditional sitting room and modern bathroom. Really enjoyed the stay in the traditional Korean house. If budget allowed, highly recommend you to stay in the suite. It is as good as the pictures in the website.

the room was clean, the bedding was comfortable enough. if you must need a bed to sleep, I don't recommend. otherwise this beautiful Korean traditional house is a good option for visitors.

Property itself was very pretty and felt very traditional. Liked this aspect. Liked the bright little room, TV and A/C worked fine. Didn’t like the lack of information on arrival about where our room was. Bathroom was attached but not ensuite ie shared - would never have booked if I’d realised this beforehand. NO futon mattress just a really thin ‘pad’ of material. Really uncomfortable. But what I really disliked was that although the mat had a cotton cover, the top cover was a thin nylon cover with no cotton and smelt unclean. Really surprised at this. I could have stood the lack of comfort but not the lack of clean covers. Spent one night here of the original 2 we booked.

객실에 생수가 없어요

객실에 생수 준비가 되어있지 않아서 조금 불편했어요 우리는 숙소에 들어와서 짐을 풀고 나갔기에 생수가 없는것을 확인하고 숙소로 들어올때 생수등을 구입하고 들어왔지만, 그냥 모르고 늦은밤에 들어오면 당황할것 같아요

분위기나 외관은 마음에 듭니다. 이불, 수건도 깨끗하고 냄새 않나고 청결해서 좋았습니다. 하지만 화장실이 너무 습해서 변기, 수도곡지등 곰팡이가 피었는데 관리가 않되었고 갑자기 지네같은 발 많이 달린 벌레들이 나오더군요. 사장님이 나이가 많으셔서 관리하기 힘든신지 화장실이 젤 불편했습니다.

고택 체험 추천

고택은 처음 경험해 보는 숙소였습니다. 나름 역사가 깊어서 의미가 있는 고택이라 선택한 곳이었고 화장실과 같이 있는 방이라서 편리했습니다. 비록 화장실은 협소하고 거기 있는 비누 상태랑 컵은 청결도는 만족 스럽진 않았지만 그냥 친척집 놀러왔다는 너그라운 마음으로 하루 보낼 만 했습니다. 밖에 있는 백구? 는 묶여 있고 계속 앉아만 있는 상태로 꼬리만 흔들고 있는 것이 안쓰러워 보였습니다.

고택 분위기 좋으니 소음 및 침대가 없어 쉬기에는 부적절합니다

숙소는 깨끗했어요, 고택 분위기도 너무 멋집니다. 다만 침대가 아니어도 매트리스만 있어도 좋았을텐데, 얇은 이불을 깔고 잤는데 바닥이 넘 딱딱해서 잠을 잘 못잤습니다 게다가 옆방에서 세벽1시까지 소란스럽게 떠들고 이야기해서 쉴 만한 장소는 아니었습니다

안동댐으로 수몰될뻔했던 유서깊은 고택이 -한옥의 불편함이 없지 않지만- 아직 남아있다는 것이 감사했습니다. 자글자글 끓는 뜨거운 한옥방에서 하룻밤 편히 쉬었습니다. 퇴계 이황선생의 후손이 운영하는 고택 스테이로 한옥의 운치와 더불어 치암고택의 소중한 유래와 의미를 고택의 주인이신 이황선생의 현손, 이동수님께 듣고, 알게 되어 매우 감사하고 뜻깊은 하루였습니다. 소중한 역사와 고택이 잘 보존되고, 새내기 세대들과 더불어 잘 기리어 나가게 되길 바랍니다.
