"Close to historic center. Nice small apartment with kitchen. If you're not used to Cuenca, be prepared for cold nights and no hotel has heaters. Unfortunately there was a couple of smoke detectors that kept beeping all night throughout the hotel. They do offer an included friendly breakfast at a nearby hotel restaurant. "

THIS APARTMENT IS LOCATED IN A COMMERCIAL BUILDING WITH NO 24/7 LOBBY OR CLEANING SERVICE, IN CASE YOU THINK IT IS A HOTEL-LIKE SETTING - IT IS NOT. It is at the edge of the Historic city so choose your route home wisely after 8pm. The place looks like the pictures posted. So charming. Loved our stay."

"I had such a lovely time at this place, everyone was very accommodating. The room was comfortable and had all that I needed for the duration of my stay—It felt like a home away from home! I was able to read my books in the courtyard along with the sweet dogs that lived on the property and everyone that was around was extremely helpful and friendly. The building and property itself was incredibly beautiful and felt like a hidden palace in the hills. If I ever come back to Quito, I will absolutely...
