A quiet, comfortable room overlooking an attractive street. Very convenient location both for museums and hop on hop off bus & boat. An excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.
We loved the location and were welcome by a friendly young gentleman who was so gracious and kind. Very good suggestions for food and easy to travel around the city from here. The trams are great as well as museums. Be sure to book favorita early before visit. Very comfortable room and setup.
Nice hotel. Great location. Lobby is great for hanging out and catching up on emails, etc. if you want to get out of the room when doing admin stuff between museum trips, boat tours and experiencing Amsterdam. Staff is friendly, especially Torben. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet and well laid out. Very good option for an Amsterdam stay.
the rooms were clean and ready. hotel location is ideal. close to museums and restaurants. there is a tram stop 1 block away. the staff able to answer all our questions and had suggestions for us. we were very well treated for the week we stayed
Positives: Large quiet, very clean room. Great bed. Housekeeping staff was fantastic. Very well located for art museums, high end shopping and good restaurants.
Negative: breakfast was awful and grossly overpriced. We ended up eating out at Blushing—only a 3 minute walk, great breakfast, for about the same price. Also-they had no wash cloths in the building!
So happy I went with this hotel on my first trip to Amsterdam. Not only is it located in such a fantastic area, but the staff was amazing. I looked to the reviews to help me decide on a hotel because there are so many options in Amsterdam and I didn’t know where to start. Safe to say my boyfriend and I were not disappointed and would love to come back in the future. Thank you to the staff for surprising me with a small little treat on my birthday. That extra touch really left a mark on my trip.
The location is great, and the area is really nice. The room size is ok but the bed was bad, terrible mattress!!! They need to get new mattress also the room has a hint of not a nice smell in the evening time. Nice staff also
Lovely location - very close to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Tree lined street, mostly quiet except when schoolchildren are playing in the nearby schoolyard. Otherwise, quiet at night.
Only one staff member, Patrick, stood out. Others were perfunctory and not particularly outgoing.
Room was large, clean. Staff was super helpful we did not have the breakfast served because we wanted to go into town to try the local foods. Carla was very nice and hospitable. And the front desk person during our checkout was very accommodating. Nice location! Very close to tram and everything you need
Cosy hotel in the museum district. Has a lift, making it very accessible even with heavy luggage. Very cosy hotel, we extended our check out time just to enjoy it more!
Great location and a nice room. King bed was a little weird 2 twin beds pushed together with a large crack in the middle. AC worked well and internet was strong. Close trams to get to just about any where and very walkable to many things like a grocery store and restaurants. We had a great stay.
Great hotel right in the middle of everything. Clean, large and nice rooms. Only downside very expensive breakfast but that is solved since there are a lot of café nearby.
The hotel was perfect in every aspect - perfectly situated in the heart of the museum quarter, just across the road from the Van Gogh Museum, and 3 minutes from public transport, great food and quiet neighborhood. The hotel staff was kind and supportive. We will definitely come back
I loved our short stay here! The rooms are cute with windows that open. Shower was nice and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The location is on a quiet street near the museums. Very convenient to walk to everything and close to the bus and tram stop! I would happily stay here again!
We booked 2 rooms, one room the a/c didn’t get cold but it was ok since we could open the window. The area was quiet. The bathroom had some visible mold even with the dark tile and grout. Other than that the area is great walking distances to shopping, restaurants and museums.
