Small, clean hotel, very friendly staff. Everything was uncomplicated. Very good for a short stay of only a few days. Transport from Amsterdam Centraal is very good via Metro (only a few minutes). Also very close to one of the stops of the hop on hop off busses. If you don't need much space or extras I would definitely recommend!

Cozy spot near city center

Great location! Close to the main attractions but also in a quiet neighborhood. You can either walk to the center of the city or take the tram or metro just a few short stops. Rooms are small and older but clean and perfect for a weekend trip.

Good location + price

Very good location, room was clean and had everything you need. We were in a basement room which overlooked the courtyard at the back of the property. Mattress and pillows weren't very comfortable, and the shower tray seemed to fill up quite quickly when showering. Overall, pretty good for the price.

Ok for a short stay

The reseptionist who met us had a bit of an attitude, not the best welcome. The room was ok, but it's not new and fresh. Cleaning could be better, there was hairs in the shower and dirt in the shelves in the dressers. Rooms are not soundproof, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. Very close to metro station, so easly acessible to/from the central station.

THEY HAVE BED BUGS DO NOT STAY HERE. They know about the bed bugs, have had them multiple times in the past and still it continues to be an issue. I've asked for a refund and reimbursement for laundering costs and new hotel room and they have not answered.

The bathroom had a smell of vomiting when checking in. The cleaned it again when asked to do so, but would have preferred to have another room. Used the iron the next day and it started leaking some sort of "fluid", ruining the the clothes.

Lovely hotel, needed a hotel urgently after cancelled flight - accommodation was clean and comfortable! Close to where we wanted to be! Check in and check out was quick and had no issue at all! They where happy to hold luggage for us too

Next to metro, not far from Amsterdam Centraal. Nice small hotel. Shower might be too cramped if you're on a bigger side, but was not a problem for me. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent Stay In Amsterdam

We were very lucky to find the Hotel Allure. We are traveling with bicycles and need secure bike parking. The Allure has a lovely garden where we were able to secure our bikes. We had a garden room which was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The tram is right outside the front door and there are many restaurants nearby.

A cute little hotel with very friendly and helpful personnel. Our room in the attic was very hot because the weather was form and there was no fan in the room. The trams outside were a little bit noisy but that was not a problem for us. We felt very safe in the area.

Whilst clean and a room with a good view we found it was a long way from eateries. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor is dated and the carpet needs replacing. Wotif also gave very misleading communications that gave us the impression that we had paid so our arrival was full of confusion as we tried to sort this out.

Stayed with a partner. Room was in the basement so I’m sure the second floor rooms may have been nicer but this felt very much like a cruise ship room. Nothing terribly wrong with it. Some black mould noted in the bathroom. But it was in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance of some museums and trams

Not the best. Pretty bare bones. The good: The staff were nice, the area felt safe, there were usb plugs, anything wipeable and launderable was clean. The bad: broken pole in closet so couldn’t hang anything, my door wouldn’t consistently lock behind me, noisy from the outside trams, dirty looking carpet, no amenities. If you are looking for cheaper and bare bones, this works, but I personally wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing location. Very close to grocery, coffee shops, metro and pharmacy. Staff was very friendly and a warm greeting. I wish I would have read closer and realized there was no AC. The room had a wall mounted fan and came with another portable one. We stayed in June so the room had to have the window open every night and the street is busy. Didn’t sleep well any of the 4 nights. The breakfast is not worth the price. The cook was fighting a cold and we could hear him sniffing, snorting and coughing while we were eating. The fans helped but I ended up having to pull them apart and clean them myself as they were very dusty and dirty. Room is quite small along with the shower. I kept bumping in to the handle and changing the water temperature; almost burnt myself quite badly. Decent if you’re on a tight budget.
