Location was excellent - right across the street from bus stop that comes from/goes to airport. Also next to huge park and many of the spots and restaurants to visit. Rooms may have problems with cool AC - so be cautious of that going in.

Excellent location adjacent to the museums and tram lines. Lots of entertainment options nearby. Vondelpark is next to this hotel. We had tasty rijstafel at Kartika. Super nice staff!

Great property in the middle of everything Amsterdam. Major attractions, great restaurants, and shopping are all within walking distance or a short tram/bus ride away. Our room was perfect size, clean, bed very comfortable, cleaning staff good and helpful. Reception book in and out was quick and helpful. Information and taxi booking very efficient and helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable and sufficient, although the hot food we would have preferred a bit hotter. Staff were friendly and efficient, seated quickly. Gluten free was catered for and lots of choices. One member of staff, Angela Hang, was very helpful with my gf and also very professional, efficient and lovely to talk too. The only problem that we encountered was at breakfast on the Thursday. We felt invisible, seated quickly no problem there, took a while to be asked for our drinks order, was busy so understood, took my gf order. We were not asked for our egg order and could not get their attention, had to as for more milk twice and gave up and went to get. The lad did apologise about the milk. When asked when we left if all was okay I did say and write a comment on what happened. Very apologetic and a note and fruit was sent to our room apologising plus free drinks at the bar. That was nice and it was the only because of 1 member of staff I couldn’t fault the rest. The hotel could not have been more apologetic. Our stay was here was very good and we would return.

When I arrived I was assigned a room that had not yet been serviced but it was a mix up that the management quickly fixed. They sent me to a new cleaned room right away and they offered us breakfast for the inconvenience. I would stay here again because I feel their staff is very customer service oriented and deals with small mix ups quickly. We also took an evening boat tour and the hotel was very close to the pick up location so that was very nice. They even had an outlet that was compatible with US power plugs which was pretty nice. Recommend staying here, if you are American you will be very comfortable .
