「Fabulous hotel with wonderful William Morris wallpaper and tasteful decor.
Our room– room 2, was enormous, with a gigantic, very comfy bed, a wonderful view across the valley, including the railway, and a large victorian style bathroom with a standalone bath with shower over.
An excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely recommend and stay again.」
「We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. 「Wonderful stay at Pale Hall Hotel. Beautiful and comfortable room. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent dining options - a tasting menu / fine dining or a bar menu. Both served in a beautiful dining room. We had the bar menu and it was wonderfully cooked.
Morning breakfast was perfect and a small gift of water and cookies for our journey much appreciated. We would highly recommend this hotel. 」

「We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit.
The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff.
We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers.
