Great base for exploring the area
Great place to use as a base to explore the area. Not much directly around the property but it is walking distance from Ambleside's pubs and restaurants. Room 1 was nicely renovated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

Wonderful hospitality and great location
We had a wonderful few days in Ambleside, staying with Tina and Steve. Everything about the guest house is exactly what we wanted. Clean, friendly, great breakfast, etc. It is a perfect location for visiting Ambleside in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

We had four nights at the Wanslea..Close to town but still quiet / Very nice people / very clean / Good breakfast and well organized with no awful music / A nice big TV with quite a few channels./ No dogs / Free parking close by. (ask before parking.) All good , we loved it.
