An amazing hotel. Gary gave the smoothest check in ever. Amy in Stove was incredibly hospitable and was one of the reasons our stay was so good. The spa was fantastic.

Lovely hotel which was very comfortable and right up our street. We only had breakfast which was plentiful and very nice. The best bit for us was the location of the hotel which was just fab -walks from the door and a couple of pubs in walking distance.

Room was very clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. We had a spa treatment which was what we needed followed by 2 hours steam rooms, saunas and pools to help relax for the weekend.

Super nice rooms, excellent shower, all very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were high quality, clean and maintained throughout the day. Breakfast excellent - continental pastries and usual buffet. The restaurant and bar area are picturesque and add to warm cosy feeling of the entire venue. Would highly recommend.

Lovely quiet location, super handy for the airport. Warm welcome from the host. Super clean room, funky decor, comfy bed. Small touches like fresh milk in the in-room fridge, water and biscuits make all the difference. A lovely change from a “hotel”. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!

Great hotel, located in a lovely part of the Lakes

Ideal base for sight seeing and walking . Staff were very friendly and most helpful. Used the Stove a couple of times and the food was great, didn't use the spa as we decided to get out and about and sight see. Will definitely be going back.

Relaxing hotel for honeymoon break

We stayed at the Langdale for our minimoon in the Lakes. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great shower! The Stove restaurant served quality food and had a large selection at breakfast including pancakes, killers and the full English amongst others, with friendly staff and servers. We particularly enjoyed and would recommend the Brimstone Spa, we had a couples massage and spent all afternoon using the thermal facilities which were really relaxing in the most beautiful surroundings!

Lovely hotel in teh Southern lakes

The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of the lake district with many close attractions to visit and is excellently placed for a walking holiday. The rooms are spacious and the grounds between the different building of the hotel are beautiful. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent especially the shared pork roast. The breakfast was good but the service at both meals was not as good as you would expect form a restaurant of this quality and cost. The swimming pool and gym were very good. there is an excellent well price pub within close walking distant. Overall a very enjoyable stay
