「Had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Horse & Farrier. Room was excellent with great facilities , Comfy bed , iron and ironing board , hairdryer and lovely big shower. full size fridge and wine glasses and a sink complete with fairy liquid, great if wanting to eat in as there was also knives and forks in a drawer. We had a meal on the second night which was really good. The staff were amazing ,really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is a bus stop directly outside and buses...

Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!).」

「What a find this place was. We needed somewhere to stay and shelter from Storm Dave rather than risk the campervan. We were lucky enough to find the family room at the String of Horses. Amazing food in the pub, amazing and super friendly staff, especially the lady who sorted out brownie pieces for my ten year old rather than the Sundae dessert version. The breakfast in the morning, ordered from a menu rather than buffet was delicious with great options. Added bonus was how close the...
