「This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. 「Hotel and room were beautiful. Check-in clerk was friendly and welcoming. Location was completely charming, and the breakfast was very good. We were in suite 7, and therein lies the problem. An hour after checking in and prior to leaving for dinner we discovered our TV didn’t work. We mentioned it to the clerk who said she would have a look while we were out to dinner if that was OK with us. We gratefully agreed and left for dinner. When we returned, the TV still didn’t work and the front desk...

「On arriving seeing all the lorries parked up was not sure what to expect. Stairs up to first floor rooms. Room was a surprise! very clean and plenty of room and a sea view! also surprising was how quiet it was. Did not hear traffic at all and it is on a very busy road.We ate in both the cafe and the resteraunt and the food was great! The staff were very friendly which was a bonus.It is a good base to visit Bamburgh and Lyndisfarne,both were well worth a day out.」

「There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way.」

「The room was clean and the location convenient but it was difficult to find initially. There was no soap in the room or enough toilet roll so it would have been good to have been warned that I would need these. The shower head was broken. There was a kitchenette but an incomplete set of cutlery and limited crockery. At the cost of the room though I would have expected these things to be provided.」
