Place is great and perfect for meetings in Ottawa with La cocotte restaurant being one of the highlight as well. I would stay away from rooms at lower level facing the internal courtyard- too noisy at night. I requested a room change at 22:00 upon check-in which was done very kindly and swiftly. Overall a good option in Ottawa.

I enjoyed my stay here, the staffs were very cheerful and helpful.

I would say it’s a bit different from other Fairmont like Banff springs and Frontenac. The room is not what I expected for a high end hotel however the area in the hotel is amazing and you can feel the history as well.

The hotel and amenities were very nice! The restaurant in the hotel has amazing bread that’s made by the chef. The hotel staff are all very friendly and kind. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom area had heated floors. The curtains don’t fully block out the light so if you need to room dark the sun will slightly shine through the cracks. Hotel is right near the downtown and I’m walking distance of many thing.
