"Hotel was close to the ballfields where my daughter was playing. Was close to many restaurants and Busch Gardens. Was very clean and mainly quiet at night. "
"Located outside main Williamsburg, you’ll be driving to anything in town, but located decently close to downtown. Quiet, clean, friendly and communicable staff. Would stay again. "

Cottage - Williamsburg Pet-Friendly Getaway – Heated Pool, Free Game Room, Near Parks
6/10 Okay
"I booked the cottage for my family of 5. There must be an error in the listing, because, for the beds, the listing shows there are 1 queen bed and 4 sofa beds. Unfortunately, we found that there were only 2 sofa beds... so my 12 year old son and 11 year old daughter had to share a bed -- not cool. Also, when we entered the cottage, the first thing we smelled was pet urine. The rug at the entrance of the front door reaked. Probably from a previous guest not letting their dog out in time. Nonetheless, we don't have pets and this was very gross to us. I stored the rug in the closet until we left the next day. Other than that, the cottage was nice. The people working at the general store were friendly. And the kids enjoyed the pool."
"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If you're looking for a nice place to stay with the pups, close to historical Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, this is a love stay!"
