"The property looked great in the photos and has a convenient location close to both the supermarket and the beach. We also really appreciated being able to bring our dog - the outdoor area was perfect for a small pet.Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a few issues during our stay. The washing machine wasn’t working and wasn’t repaired during our week-long visit, which was challenging with a one-year-old. While Nick reimbursed 50 for the inconvenience, it did affect our stay.We also found the property lacked some of the details you’d typically expect in a short-stay rental, such as instructions for using the four TV remotes, central heating, or guidance on bin collection days (we only realised when we heard the truck coming).Some furnishings and amenities felt quite basic — the kitchen knives were blunt, the bedding was thin with only sheets (no doona covers), and one of the towels even had a hole.Additionally, the bedrooms let in a lot of light and there was noticeable road noise, so light sleepers may want to bring an eye mask and earplugs.Overall, the location and dog-friendly setup were positives, but a few maintenance and comfort improvements would make this property much more enjoyable."
