「Pool/hot tub were closed for painting, so that was disappointing!」

「The best feature here was their breakfast. The waffles, eggs and meats were hot and tasty. It would have been nice if they had staff to wipe off tables when people left or at least provided water and a towel to do so ourselves as paper napkins stuck to the sticky syrup that had been spilt on the tables. The hot tub was not usable due to some chemical imbalance. Our bathroom had dried flakes of mud on the floor. We wiped them up with tissues but it left us wondering what was on the carpet that...

「Breakfast was banal but expected. Biggest complaint is no elevator. How can a hospitality facility build a two story hotel without an elevator. What about guests like my wife and I forced to take a second floor room. We had to drag our heavy bags up the stairs and down when we left.」

「This is my family's second stay and we absolutely love it! The owners are super friendly and always asking if everything is okay. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and always fresh and hot. The hot tub is amazing! When I travel to Iowa this is the place to stay!」

「We stayed overnight while on a trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We could park right in front of our room, which is nice. Food and gas was nearby. It wasn’t fancy, but I felt like I was in a good spot. 」

「I have booked a room described as "1 King bed with Recliner". However, entering the room we found an office chair only. We are 2 people intending to spend 2 nights/3 days in the room so I asked at the front desk about "Recliner", or any chair. They looked puzzled. Since I insisted that we need another chair, a guy was sent to grab an office chair from another room. Anyway, since then we were not trusting this place to match the price of $100/night. It is very run down, not being taken...

「Breakfast was great! Too bad they were in the middle of renovating. Debris and mess everywhere on the main floor. Would have thought they would keep the clutter and mess concentrated on the floor they were remodeling. Staff was great, though, and let my wife keep her shoulder ice wrap in the employee fridge freezer.」

The ceiling in our room was peeling a bit, but the room was clean and just what we needed for the night. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you!」
