"The hotel is very artsy. Very comfortable and visibly appealing. Check in was a little confusing. There are two Hotel Akureyri’s. One is being constructed and the other is the original. GPS will bring you to the one currently being constructed. Even with construction the hotel is still open to guests and is where breakfast is served, however, our hotel room was in a totally separate building a few businesses down the road. This definitely needs to be clarified when booking due to the confusion it raises. Even with the minor mishap the hotel its self is beautiful. Will definitely stay again. "

"After a wonderful experience 18 months ago we returned to Hrafnabjorg for a second stay, this time with friends who joined us for a visit to northern Iceland. Everything was fantastic again, particularly with the amazing views with the snow covered mountains. Always warm and comfortable to return to after our daily explorations around the region, we will most definitely be back again in the future!"

"Johannes and Arthur were so welcoming, after a really bad journey through the mountains and deep in high snow they looked after us making sure we had plenty of food, helped us navigate the roads and made sure we were safe, we would highly recommend staying here. A good selection for breakfast and home cooked meals on an evening to save us going out in snow. Thank you so much for everything"
