Check in staff unhelpful and took some debate to get a second keycard. The room had faulty and taped over bedside lights.
Dinning in was also terrible. Poor gentleman was in training and when he asked the manager for support who was sat next to him at check in. He was ignored. Manager was quite obviously on a personal call. They could neither offer our choice of meal or drink. Further to that the dinning room was freezing. The manger told us the warmest part to sit. Then mid meal turned the tv on to football at such a level without asking if we were okay ( bare in mind the radio was also
On at the same time)
The food was cold and below standard. Our table wasn’t clean.
We left our meal.
The nights stay was so noisy.
Very very disappointed as we stay at this chain 2-3 times a month.
Very very disappointing. Needs much improvement all round.

Nice enough place but quite a few issues. Arrived at reception and was being checked in as the wrong person, then find out that they charge £8 per night for parking (not easy to find when booking). Got to the room which was in need of modernising. Some lights not working in the room, some furniture missing, and window fittings were flaking/falling apart (windows would not close or lock properly). Beds were clean and comfortable enough but mattresses are quite thin.
Overall, we got a good nights sleep in a comfortable enough bed. Place does need modernising and some better attention to detail with things like check in and maintenance.

The hotel overall offered a very good price for a reasonably convenient location, the bed itself was nothing to get hyped about, but it just about beats out a sofa bed. There was an Air Conditioning (or just Heater/Cooler) unit in the room, but the control panel just flashed "E3" repeatedly and otherwise done nothing whilst it was turned on - there was however a small fan in the room which was OK as a backup. Parking is plentiful and we had no trouble finding a space, even when arriving back to the hotel late at night. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant. If I wanted a more comfortable sleep, because of the bed I'd choose elsewhere, but for the price we paid it was a good option for a bed and then breakfast buffet the following morning.
