"The property was old, dirty and in disrepair. If I had not already paid for the night online. I would have stayed elsewhere. The room was dirty, the beds were well used and they used an air freshener that was overpowering and aggravated my allergies. The hotel really is not worth the amount charged ..."

"Everyone at the Russell Inn is so friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean. Breakfast is amazing. The area is quiet and close to MSU, places to eat and shop. Russell Inn is the ONLY place we stay when we visit our daughter in Starkville!!"

Relaxed stay for football season
"This was perfect for our trip from out of state to catch a football game. It was a great price and there was more than enough room for our group of 4. Only knock was a few cockroaches we came across, but only two really isn’t a deal breaker. The rest of the house was clean and ready for our stay"

However, full disclosure, there are no cutting knives or bottle opener and the bedrooms are tiny so one side of the double bed is flush with the wall which can make getting in and out of bed difficult ..."
