"Lovely individual hotel, great location for exploring York, large room with a very comfortable poster bed."

"The room is clean but the carpet looks very old. And the room very dark as the lights are dull. Again no socket near the bed. A lot of noise in the morning at the ground floor just outside our bedroom."

"It was quirky and I loved the whole atmosphere. I didn’t use the bar just the room , shower was hot and the bus nearby was great , also the river and wall walks were close by as well ."

"We have just had a family stay ready for a wedding Planned for a while and the hotel is as stunning as I remember Stunning beautiful xx"

"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."
