Kind staff

Our stay at Eriska was wonderful and full of good memories. The staff were very professional and attentive. We spent one day walking around the entire island - it was not strenuous and took approximately 3 hours and that included lots of breaks to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The food at Eriska was top notch from the lovely breakfasts to the multi course dinners. We stayed in the Skye room which is on the first floor. It was a spacious room with a sofa and fireplace.

I unfortunately was actually never able to make it to the property but wanted to leave a review since I was so impressed by the customer service. The night before we were supposed to travel to the highlands, my toddler came down with RSV and we have to cancel our whole highlands trip, which included a night at Glencoe Inn. Emma was an amazing host. The property was clean, the host was welcoming, and the breakfast was superb with a variety of fresh fruits and muffins to go with your main dish. (Definitely say yes to the porridge!!) Be aware, the property is not near any shops or... anything at all, really. It’s a proper country house surrounded by beautiful nature (and right in front of a bus stop) so if you want to eat out or get groceries you’ll have to plan for it as the closest store is 4-5 miles away. The property is elegant and the service attentive. Dinner menu is multi-course and changes nightly. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared. They were very accommodating about substituting courses if you didn't eat certain things.

Greeted at the Train station by a hotel driver, there was never a time that the hotel was not assisting in the best of hospitality. When asked when the bar closed, the answer was "when the last guest goes to bed". The hotel's food was the best of our trip.

Quiet setting next to a golf course. Attentive staff. The room {#2} was very large as was the bathroom. It was a bit dated but still pleasant. Great golf course.

What a beautiful quite hotel. The staff were amazing & friendly, the food was delicious. I would definitely return
