"The property was beautiful and very cosy and very clean. When we arrived the fire was lit, and the extra touches such as fresh flowers, beautiful soap in the bathroom etc made it more homely. The garden is beautiful and the hosts couldn't do enough for us, recommendations of where to visit, eat etc. If we needed anything to message them. "

"The Boatman's Cottage is a real hidden gem - in all senses. This secluded little cottage is ideal if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the scenery, relax and breathe in the fresh air. Local walks from your doorstep are great to explore. But if you want more there is loads to do in the area and the views are amazing not matter which way you travel.The cottage itself is clean, tidy and has all you need and more, plus your hosts provide you with a very generous welcome pack.Personally, I wanted a quiet time away, on my own, to reflect and recharge and my stay at The Boatman's certainly did that and I came away refreshed and ready for the new year ahead. A great place to stay - secluded with a touch of luxury."

"Catriona was a lovely host, she gave us plenty of information about the local area and suggestions of things to do. We stayed in the stable which was clean, comfortable, provided everything we could want and had an amazing spiral staircase which really makes the downstairs area. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying at Blarghour to anyone wanting to unwind, explore or both."
