「I was able to check in with a warm welcome.I was tired after a long trip, but the smiling faces of the hotel staff made me feel better.We could see part of the waterfall from our room, and the mountain scenery was soothing .The shampoo and conditioner were also L'Oxitan products, and they smelled good. We also had a delicious breakfast with a view of the mountains.They kindly provided us with weather information when we checked out. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again.」

「This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here. 」

「We never heard other guests. It felt really private. The staff was all friendly. The food at the restaurant was great. The breakfast buffet was very good but was the same everyday. The location was perfect. We had a rental car, shout out to Sixt, and hit so many beautiful sites. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Hotel Grimsborgir. 」

「This small Inn was located in a lovely setting with a great view of the Westman Islands. The staff were so gracious and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic - especially the mussels and the bread! The spa with hot tub and sauna were terrific. A great experience for the equestrians with trail rides available!
