「The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfy and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was also excellent.
The hotel itself is a bit secluded which I enjoyed, and the closest town, Selfoss, is about 15-20min drive so be mindful of that if you prefer to be somewhere that’s walkable to Selfoss. Overall it’s a great location. Very scenic and easy access to the Golden Circle and South Coast, and just 1-hour outside of Reykjavik if you want to visit the city.」

「I was able to check in with a warm welcome.I was tired after a long trip, but the smiling faces of the hotel staff made me feel better.We could see part of the waterfall from our room, and the mountain scenery was soothing .The shampoo and conditioner were also L'Oxitan products, and they smelled good. We also had a delicious breakfast with a view of the mountains.They kindly provided us with weather information when we checked out. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again.」

「Absolutely stunning room and breakfast at the hotel across the parking lot was a bonus. The property is on the main road in town so the view is just OK but the location is unbeatable and it was very quiet at night. Only complaint was the lights... numerous switches and its not clear what controls what. And the fireplace ran out of fuel but we didnt contact anyone as we were only there for 2 nights. Wish we couldve stayed longer!」

「These cottages are amazing! We loved our cottage and also the location. They were clean, spacious and very accommodating for a family of 4. It’s close enough to Selfloss and on the route of the Golden Circle. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Iceland!」
