「Very good accommodation in excellent central location. Good service from pleasant staff Let down a little by room heating not able to be controlled from individual room without intervention from reception. Room not made available at agreed time 」

「The property was nice but felt like any little “extra” came at a cost. Hot Tub? You had to pay per person for 30 minutes. Have not seen that before. No laundry facilities as advertised and cake in drawing room was added to invoice on check out. Nice property but be aware of extras. 」

「I sat down before a party of 12 did and waitress got their orders first. Then took another tables order before me. Bed was hard. Phone to receprion did not work. Toilet had very little room to sit down without knees hitting shower glass. No hair dryer and shower handles did not work conveniently. The soap in tower container would not dispense. Side of fruit swrved before breakfast came in the appearance of a soup. The french toast was good. The bed duvet was warm.」

「We loved everything about this apartment, in a quiet buy super close to the harbor, 8 minutes walk, beautiful clean apartment with everything needed, fairly new and very modern. Highly recommend.」

「Staff was outstanding. The rooms were out of this world. Great location and the views were great. Traveled from the USA and our hotels could really learn from you guys. Also Rona webt above and beyond, she deserves a real pat on the back. The male manager was awesome as well always checking to make sure everything was ok. 」

「We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour.
