「リゾートホテルにもかかわらず、眺望のないレストランと部屋しかない。一部の部屋は、崖しか見えず。 系列ホテルが複数あり、リンクを手繰るとほかの施設がでてきて、誤解を招く。値段の割に施設が遅ます。日本の平均的なビジネスホテル以下。町の中心からも徒歩圏だが遠い。」

「Room too cold. Cant be adequately heated. Staff refused to give 2nd key to keep heater on . Cockroaches in dining area/table. Staff ignored when cockroaches were pointed out. 」

「スタッフは素朴で善良。 総じて垢抜けてもいないし、おしゃれでもないが、カンェンジュンガを眺めるロケーションは抜群。 シャワーのお湯の出は2人連続使用でも水にならなかったし、水力が弱いというわけでもなく合格点。 エアコンではないが、少々音の大きな温風暖房と湯たんぽで寒さを感じることなく快適に過ごせた。 建物も家具も古いがきちんと掃除され、大切に使われてきたことがわかる。 朝夕の食事はビュッフェ形式で、スープと飲み物が別にサーブされて、カレーが7種類ほどとナンやご飯、サラダやフルーツデザートと一通り揃っていて美味しくいただいた。 有料でも空港からの送迎サービスはないそうで、バグドグラから6~7時間、車の手配は別に行う必要がある。 距離的に何でそんなにかかるのかと思っていたが、国境でのビザの取得や未舗装路が多いためにスピードは30～40ｋｍがせいぜいだし、道路工事渋滞が頻繁に起こるためにたっぷり時間がかかってしまった。 近代化されつつあるシッキム州のまだ純朴な魅力を味わうことのできる内に訪れることをお勧めする。」

「The hotel gave us the room we didn't book for. The reservation manager took our money for deposit but returned only half because he spent it. If we would have got the room that we booked for it would have been nice ig. The hotel location is good. 」

「部屋は広かったですが、暖房は小さなヒーター一台で２月のダージリンの気候では室内でも結構寒いです。 あと、お湯がたぶん朝の数時間しか使えません。朝はタイガーヒルに行ったりで、時間が合わず、冬に冷たいシャワーしか浴びられませんでした。 」

「We chose to stay at The Golden Crest as the reviews and rooms looked good and it was located at s good main location. We had asked for a room decoration and the room was beautifully decorated.
