"This is a historic property in a not so historic area. My family spent two days in this place. We were concerned when we were coming close to the hotel because we did not realize that is in the outskirts of Siracusa, in an area filled with non-impressive apartment buildings. Very friendly service, including accomodating my early departure with an earlier than usual breakfast and even giving me a lift to the ferry terminal. I was traveling alone, but this would also be a great place to stay for a couple or a family."

"Terrific rooms, each with a large outdoor terrace. Very charming. Impressive service. I had to leave an hour before normal breakfast serving hours so the fine gentleman met me in the breakfast room at 630 am and served me a cappuccino and cake and fruit to get me on my way. I hope to come back and stay a week. Fabulous views. The Only downside: its a mile from the ferry terminal and the town center. A pleasant walk once you take a taxi with your bags."
