「古い石造りの建物をホテルに改造しています。 最大の問題点はエレベーターがないことです。部屋まで荷物を持って階段を登るのは大変な作業です。 スコティッシュスタイルの朝食がビュッフェで味わえます。」

「This is a lovely property and our room was spacious and lovely. All the public places are well designed. The resturant is almost comically horrible. We didn't find anything in town that was good, but at least some of them were slightly cheaper. Avoid if at all possible.」

「夕方はレストランを訪れる客で駐車スペースがなくなるの残念な点ですが、環境的にはきれいな所です 近くにCOOPもあり買い物も便利です」

「スタッフの対応が非常に良かったです。建物自体はそこそこ古く、日本のホテルで例えれば山奥の温泉ホテルといった風情です（温泉は出ませんが）。給湯のインフラが弱く、シャワーが途中から水になってしまいました。すぐにフロントにクレームすると、一度に多くの部屋でシャワーを使うとタンクのお湯がなくなってしまうのだとの由。でも、すぐに特別なブースターを点火するから1時間ほど待ってくれとのことで、1時間後に無事お湯のシャワーを浴びることができました。Wifiも部屋では利用できないレベルで、主にロビーのソファで使用しました。他の宿泊客は、多くが年配の方で、一部はグレンコー等をトレッキングすると思うような装備で、ネット環境を重視する宿泊客はあまり多くないのかもしれません。 このホテルで感動したのは朝食でした。ここで初めてキッパーズというニシンの燻製を食べたのですが、これがめちゃウマで、ポーリッジと一緒に食べるともうほとんど和食です。なお、西洋式にはポーリッジを食べ終わってからキッパーズが給仕されるのですが、魚はおかゆと一緒に食べたい私たちは、一緒に持ってきてくれと特別にお願いしました。」

「Probably the best thing about the hotel,was that it was very central. The bed that my partner and I shared was the most uncomfortable sleep that both of us had ever had.there was I big dip in the mattress.we never tried the food because a local advised us not to.」

「We had a very enjoyable stay at the Scone Arms. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and the improvements already completed look fantastic. Our room had been fully renovated and was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bar area has been completely updated and has a fresh, welcoming atmosphere.
