「The Cascade Lodge was super! First of all, very clean and has friendly staff. But, best of all it was lovely. The interior has a Scandinavian esthetic. Simple Scandi style furniture and artwork. It was so inviting and comfortable. Our room was large with beautiful, comfortable chairs. There were hooks on the wall for conveniently hanging our jackets, backlit bathroom mirror. So many details were attended to. The restaurant food was delicious. Finally, we hiked right out the back door to Cascade...

「The service at the Grill was utterly chaotic, with items delivered out of order or not at all until servers (there were several, and it was never clear whether anyone was in charge) were reminded. The food at the Grill was unremarkable at best. Service, food, and prices were much better at the bakery.」

「What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. 「Lovely accommodations in a secluded woods, perfectly suited to the culture and pristine landscape of the Border Lakes country. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed and Barbara and Ted were very gracious hosts. We truly did not want to leave! The tiny kitchen needed a little more light but worked perfectly for meals for two. 」
