"I love the traditional tatami rooms here. The ‘Bekkan’ is an annex and based in an older building that is charmingly done. It has its own baths, but you have access to the bigger and outdoor baths at the main building a block away. We hadn’t ticked the dinner box when reserving. "Quiet. Staff was friendly and let me check out late. Fairly clean. Questionable stains on the walls and on the floor but at least the bed was clean. Bath was good. Not too many places to eat in the area. Hakurakuten nearby had good food and the staff was nice. "
