"Local pubs were good eating. Not much sound proofing in walls. Room smelt very clean. Room facilities clean just dated which is expected for a regional township. "

"This was once a monastery so the bedrooms are small, but the communal areas are spacious. Sea views from the sunroom. A well stocked kitchen. A very peaceful location. Shared bathrooms which are multigender. No TV. A good place for groups. Child friendly. Good communication."

"Quite new cabin, everything thing was there for an overnight stay. Great cooking facilities (which we didn’t use) Only criticism would be to supply extra pillows and a hair dryer. Soap dispenser wasn’t working. "

"This is an unstaffed house with upto 20 or more staying. Not what I thought we were booking at all. No check in information given. We were left to find the property which doesn't appear on google maps in the dark when we arrived no one was there. The phone number on the door was disconnected and when I rang the number on the booking site it Rang out three times before someone answered. She couldn't find our booking to begin with but then said she would send us check in information which was just...

"We loved our stay at the Caledonian Inn. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet - had all that we needed. Off street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants - but the food at the Caledonian Inn itself was fabulous. We recommend the pub and the accommodation - and will definitely visit again!"
