「Although the accommodation was clean and comfortable, (the loo serving 3 rooms was tiny) the owner has rules which he outlines immediately eg shoes off, cars parked in a certain way, breakfast between 8 and 815. He also has particular views about society and politics which he is very ready to share, most of which we disagreed with. We found him to be too forthright and it generated some tensions. If you like politics, military history and conspiracy theories, this place is for you.」

「Paul and Tina gave us a warm welcome. We got in late from delayed travel as we tour across Scotland. We were greeted with a fire and a dram. The lodge is immaculate and the service cannot be beat. What a treat! We will be back.」

「I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is very nice, but it's worth noting that they do not accept Amex cards. While there isn’t a supermarket nearby, the hotel offers plenty of complimentary snacks, which was a nice touch.
Breakfast typically starts at 8 AM, but when we mentioned that we needed to check out at 8 AM, the hotel staff kindly offered to prepare a packed lunch instead. They provided us with homemade sandwiches, fruit juice, and potato...
