"The place is really nice and the island is just beautiful. Only 2 things: the hotel is quite hard to get to without a car and often times there's no one at the front desk. But the hotel people when they are around are very nice and helpful. In general, very nice stay considering we had to stay an extra night due to cancelled flights."

"The hosts were amazing. Totally went above and beyond! I was offered to be driven to Omurayama. They also offered to drive me back but I opted for the bus (for the experience!) Also, I was super impressed by one of the female workers speaking so many languages! I'm also a super picky eater but the traditional breakfast was amazing. Last but not least, when I checked out I was given the offer to drive me to the station. They're just such lovely and kind people!"

"お宿から降りてすぐの日の出浜で波の音を聴きながらゆっくり過ごしました。 お宿近くの岡田港の周辺は食事ができるところが元町港に比べて少ないようですが、舟吉さんで2食付き、港の施設のレストランで昼食を取れるので特に問題ありませんでした。私は食べる機会がありませんでしたが近くにはパン屋さんなどもあるようです。 お宿は清潔でご飯も美味しく、ご主人方もとても親切にしてくださいました。その日のスケジュールの相談や荷物預かりなど、心配事を相談すると真摯にお答えくださいます。お宿は山にも近いのですが部屋の窓をしっかり閉めれば虫なども問題なかったです。(もし万が一出たとしてもご主人にお願いすればすぐに対処してくださいます) 個人的な話ですが、初めての女一人旅でこんなに素敵なお宿に宿泊出来たことはとても幸いでした。伊豆大島の一人旅で宿にお悩みの方は是非、ゲストハウス舟吉さんを検討なさってみてください！"

"It was nice staying at this guest house Shirahama. It was only a few minutes drive from the Shirahama Beach. Also the restaurant was nice. Breakfast was only 500 Yen, but it was really delicious! The staff were polite and friendly, and the room was clean and quiet. I will definitely stay there again."

"きさくにわいわいするのにいところでした。キッチンも広くて充実してましたし、遊びスポットに近いのがいいですね。BBQレンタルあるみたいだけど諸事情でおすすめしないので、キッチンで料理するつもりで行くといいですね。トイレ、シャワー共同だけどいつでも使えて清潔なんで良かったですよ。カヤックツアーも楽しかったです。周り暗いので懐中電灯あるといいです。"

"The wife of the owner has some serious attitude problem, but the husband was very nice to us. There are holes on the wall and the property was different from the photos given. The road to the property is also steep, our car measured the angle at 18, so I advice to be prepared for that too. I know the wife are going to reply that we chose their place out of many in the listing... well that's because it didn't say on the details about holes on the walls. Anyway, good luck on your buisness."
