When I booked this place on Orbitz I thought I was getting a room in an hotel. I guess I should have paid more attention but I was in need of a hotel and this was in the right place when I needed it. This is an apartment in a modern building. This was not at all clear when I booked the place so it took a while to find it. An email that I received later explained that this was a private apartment and how to get it. The apartment is a clean, modern place. It looked like it had never been used. It is in a good location except for a very noisy bar on the other side of the street, directly under the windows. There is no built-in air conditioning. There are two cooling floor units that need the windows open for vent hoses in order to operate. The open windows let in all the street noise. It was somewhat fiddly to get the air cooler unit's hose out the window and still connected to the unit. It was very noisy in the apartment with both units running. Overall I thought the unit was very expensive for what it offered, especially considering the noise. There were lots of assorted extras for sale such as $40 bottles of wine, which filled a good part of the fridge. I thought this was totally unnecessary as the area is filled with bars and restaurants. The only real plus is the location which is very central: just a 15 min walk from the train station. For this price I don’t expect to have to wear earplugs to sleep. The Orbitz price didn’t include CHF 200 tax (for two nights). (abbrev.)

Amazing Apartment in the Heart of Zurich.

Not a hotel but a self contained apartment, with its own kitchen, lounge and bedroom. The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Zürich, a 10 minute walk from the Central Station, and in the heart of shops, restaurants and bars. The unit is on the first floor but the building has a lift, which is great for heavy bags etc. everything was clean and new, and the kitchen was perfect for making meals to avoid the high dining prices in Zurich. I would stay here again.

Amazing experience at a great location! It was easy to checkin since all the information was provided well in advance. The price was quite high but it was a well kept townhome and in a terrific area that it is understandable of why it was pricey. The quality of the room and accessibility to the services certainly exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful apartment in central location

Modern, beautifully appointed apartment in quaint pedestrian neighborhood with cobblestone streets and lovely piazzas. Close to Grossmunster and Fraumunster churches, beautiful shops and great restaurants. Apartment is located on 2nd floor (there is a lift), above a busy bar and restaurant with outdoor dining. When windows are open, you will hear considerable noise from patrons and wait staff setting up and breaking down tables on cobblestones. I would still recommend the apartment but keep the windows closed.

good location but beware of huge hidden cost

stay was overall good, but they charged a 70 swiss franc extra charge which was NOWHERE indicated on any hotel.com page or email (not even in any small print). this was bad as for an extra 70 swiss franc i would have picked another hotel.
